Widening Access
Have you been put off applying to medical school for any of the following reasons?
- No-one in your family has been to university
- You study at a school where few people go on to university
- You think medical school will be too expensive
…None of these things matter!
If you have achieved good grades at GCSE, are genuinely interested in studying medicine and have good predicted A levels, you have every chance of success. Many medical schools offer specific programmes and packages of support to make sure that money and background are no barrier to entering and succeeding at medical school!
How we can help

Conquest MedSchools tutors care about helping people from all backgrounds to make the most of their potential. We have been involved with a range of widening access initiatives and offer free-of-charge workshops to groups in particular schools across London, to raise awareness of how to get into medical school. If you can provide evidence of your financial situation, we will also offer UCAS review services for free and have bursaries which provide reduced rates on our courses.
